Provence Fine Wine Day Tour: Visit Three Exceptional Winemakers
Here is what's in store for you
Provence is one of the oldest wine regions in France. In fact, it was the Greeks who first brought vines here around 600 BC, making it only natural that the region is celebrated today for its outstanding rosé wines.
On this experience, you will visit three exceptional wineries, each with a unique history and winemaking heritage: Château de Beaupré, with six generations of winemaking dating back to 1855; Château Bonisson, a place of creativity and inspiration combining wine and contemporary art; and Château La Verrerie, located between the lower Rhône Valley and Provence. The estate spans 48 hectares and produces approximately 250,000 bottles each year.
This is a journey of discovery. Provence is the world’s largest producer of rosé wine, many of which are considered among the finest globally. Today, the region also produces excellent red and white wines, and this experience offers a complete overview of Provence’s diverse wine styles, set against the beauty of the Provençal countryside.
The day begins with a drive to Château La Verrerie, where you will explore the vineyard, visit the cellar, and enjoy a wine tasting. While renowned for rosé, the estate also produces notable red and white wines. A lunch break follows in the nearby village of Lauris.
In the early afternoon, continue to Château de Beaupré, a family-owned estate representing six generations of winemaking in Provence. The final stop is Château Bonisson, known for its high-quality wines, contemporary art collection, and state-of-the-art winemaking facilities.
The morning is dedicated to one vineyard, followed by visits to two wineries in the afternoon. At the end of the experience, return comfortably to your hotel or villa.
