About Winedering

Winedering is the international wine tourism marketplace, founded in Italy in 2016 by Denis Seghetti and Stefano Tulli.

Our story

The idea was born in California, where one of our co-founders watched travelers struggle to choose a winery to visit out of the hundreds available. Every estate had a different website, a different booking flow, and very few of them spoke the traveler's language.

In 2016, back in Italy, Stefano Tulli and Denis Seghetti put their two backgrounds together (international tourism on one side, digital product and engineering on the other) and started building Winedering: a vertical marketplace where anyone could discover an authentic wine experience and book it online in a few minutes.

Year after year, more travelers keep choosing Winedering. From zero visitors in 2016 to millions a year today, the marketplace counts over 57,200 wine experiences booked and gifted, 11,600 verified traveler reviews, and 6,812 hand-picked wine tastings and winery visits. Along the way, our small Italian team earned a spot in the Runway Innovation Hub acceleration program in San Francisco — and with it, a foothold in Silicon Valley.

Today Winedering covers wine regions across Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany and beyond, with a catalogue curated experience by experience and never auto-aggregated.

Why travelers trust us

A marketplace built around real wineries, real travelers, and a few principles we don't compromise on.

Hand-picked, never auto-aggregated

Every winery and every experience on Winedering is reviewed by our team before going live. No bots scraping listings from third parties.

Direct relationships with wineries

We work directly with each winery and tour operator. When you book through us you are booking the real place, not a reseller of a reseller.

Secure prepaid bookings

You pay only when the winery confirms availability. Most experiences allow free cancellation, and the exact policy is shown on every experience page before checkout.

Multilingual customer support

Our team supports you in English, Italian, French, Spanish, and German, before, during, and after your booking.

Verified reviews from real travelers

Reviews on Winedering come from people who actually booked the experience, not from anonymous accounts.

Flexible gift vouchers

Give a wine experience as a gift voucher: the recipient picks the winery, the date, and the people they want to share it with.

Pleasant experience in the Bologna hills

A truly pleasant tasting thanks to the kindness and courtesy shown to the customer, you immediately feel in a family environment and the facility is very modern, a small operation but of great quality. Very interesting is the story linked to the names given to their wine bottles

Wonderful day together with the family

I visited Cantina Guia, in a hamlet of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, and I fell in love with the place. A wonderful landscape among the UNESCO heritage hills where you can taste truly high-quality sparkling wine. The tour began in the middle of the vineyard with the owner's son, a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable guy who explained the history of the place and how his family has been committed for years to caring for the vineyard and the quality of their wine. He then accompanied us to the winery where we could see the autoclaves where the wine is prepared. Finally, the experience concluded with a rich and truly delicious tasting. Amidst chat, laughter, and an excellent explanation of the experience we were living, time flew by and lunchtime arrived. At that point we went to the restaurant right above the winery which has a truly family-friendly and welcoming look, there we tasted great food, just like that prepared by our grandmothers. Thank you truly for this wonderful experience that you gave to me and my family.

Superb experience

A superb setting, impeccable service, very well-loaded sharing platters (even overly so). Discovery of 5 very different wines, each with its own explanations. We didn't find the wines exceptional (to each their own taste) but the experience is worth it. We spent 3 lovely hours there!

Great wine tasting and also loved the tour, the hostess spoke english really well we were put with another group of people and i loved most of the wines. I had wished they had a more expensive tasting because i really wanted to taste the more expensive wine to see if i would buy one of those. But very great experience and very great hostess. A different winery, Excellent service

This summer we wanted to discover another wine designation of origin, and we chose Montsant. We visited the Bell Cros winery, and it was a highly recommended experience. Excellent service, clear explanation of the methodology, being able to ask any questions we had. The wine tasting was very well accompanied by a small snack, which helped us perceive the different aromas of their wines. Regarding Albert, the person who gave us the explanation, we can only write positive things. I was with part of my family, and besides being approachable and professional, he proved to be a very affectionate and obliging person. At the end of the visit and tasting, we were able to buy some of the wines from their fantastic winery. We have recommended the visit, in fact, since it can be done in English, some German friends have been.

Great experience

Very pleasant experience, both for the wines we enjoyed and for the explanations and accompaniment. I don't know what the girl's name is, (Taia was her nickname when she was little), but she was very helpful, clear, and pet friendly!

Mission and values

Winedering exists because authentic wine experiences deserve a window onto the world that is as direct as possible, between the people who make wine and the people who travel to taste it.

We defend small wineries, family-run estates, and independent guides who would never make it onto a generic travel marketplace. Their stories, their hands, their land: that is the experience travelers come for, and that is what we curate.

Discovery, not aggregation. Authenticity, not volume. We would rather list one winery less than list one we have not personally checked.
