Discover the wines of the Luberon appellation while savouring the flavors of locally produced olive oil. The day begins with a visit to the beautifully situated Château La Verrerie, located in the heart of the Luberon landscape, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, and lavender. Château La Verrerie lies between the lower Rhône Valley and Provence. Although viticulture here dates back centuries, the Coteaux du Luberon appellation was officially created in 1988, and La Verrerie is considered one of its finest estates.
Next, visit Bastide du Laval, an outstanding olive oil producer, where you will enjoy a tasting of several of their oils. The experience continues with a short cultural stop in the village of Lourmarin, allowing free time to explore its boutiques, art galleries, and cafés. After a lunch break, enjoy a guided visit to the beautifully restored Renaissance Château de Lourmarin.
In the afternoon, continue to Cucuron to discover Domaine La Cavale, another highly regarded Luberon wine estate. Visit the cellars and enjoy a tasting of their wines before concluding the day.
