Enjoy a unique Provençal experience that begins in the charming old town of Aix-en-Provence, where you will discover the oldest food market in Provence. Stroll through its vibrant stalls and be captivated by the freshness, colors, and variety of local produce, truly immersing yourself in the authentic flavors of the region. (Please note that on some days of the week the market is smaller than others.) After time for a snack or light lunch at your leisure, you will journey through the beautiful Provençal countryside toward two exceptional wine estates.

Your first stop is Château de Beaupré, a family-owned winery with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1855, when Baron Émile Double planted the first vines and founded the estate. Today, the fourth generation continues to uphold these traditions across 43 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards set in the peaceful countryside north of Aix-en-Provence. The estate itself dates to the mid-19th century, while its elegant Provençal bastide was built in 1739. During your visit, you will explore the property and enjoy a tasting of their refined Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOC wines.

The experience continues at Château Bonisson, an award-winning estate that is both a destination and a creative hub. This beautifully preserved 18th-century country house, with its Italianate terrace overlooking vineyards framed by woodland and ancient oak-dotted hills, offers a truly inspiring setting. The state-of-the-art winery also houses a contemporary art centre, featuring rotating exhibitions throughout the year, blending fine wine with artistic expression. Both estates are family-owned and renowned for producing excellent Provence wines.

You will be collected at the start of the day from your hotel, chambre d’hôte, villa, or apartment, and after this rich day of gastronomy, wine, and culture, you will be comfortably returned to your accommodation.
