Châteauneuf-du-Pape Intensive Vineyard & Fine Wine Experience – The Best of the Rhône Valley
Here is what's in store for you
If you are a lover of fine wines and wish to spend a day visiting some of the best vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, join us for an in-depth discovery of this exceptional appellation.
This is a region where tradition is enhanced by modernity and excellence, shaped by the skills of many generations of family winemakers, many of whom can trace their roots back centuries. Overlooking the village stands the ruins of the château built by the Popes in the 14th century as a summer residence to escape the heat of Avignon.
In the morning, enjoy an immersive visit lasting a couple of hours at one of two family-owned estates, where you will learn about their heritage, explore the cellars, and taste a selection of their renowned red wines as well as the lesser-known white wines of the appellation. You may even have the opportunity to sample some rarer vintages.
Time is then allowed for lunch at a family-owned restaurant in the village.
In the afternoon, visit two very different vineyards: first, an estate run by six generations of winemakers, followed by a smaller but equally important producer within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. We work with 6 to 8 of the most reputable, award-winning winemakers in the region, where quality, expertise, history, and heritage are at the heart of everything they do. During the day, you may meet one or two of the estate owners and enjoy the chance to taste additional rare vintages.
Throughout the experience, you will visit three exceptional vineyards, explore their cellars, learn about their individual histories, and enjoy tastings of outstanding wines. At the end of the day, return comfortably to your hotel or villa.
