At 10:00 AM, your knowledgeable English-speaking guide will meet you directly in your hotel lobby. From there, you’ll begin a relaxing walk through the charming streets of Florence, discovering a centuries-old tradition in an authentic and engaging way. Along the way, your guide will lead you to several hidden buchette del vino (wine windows), explaining their fascinating history and allowing you to experience this heritage firsthand by receiving a glass of wine directly from one of these famous windows.
The tour includes stops at two historic enoteche (local wine shops). At first, you’ll enjoy a tasting of fine Tuscan wines paired with local snacks. The experience continues at a second, classic enoteca, where you’ll be treated to a light lunch with wine pairings featuring cured meats, cheeses, fresh bread, olive oils, mozzarella, and crostini.
