Half-Day Tuscany Tour from Florence or Siena: Greve in Chianti & Winery Visits
Here is what's in store for you
9:00 AM - Your private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Florence in a comfortable minivan. The tour begins with a scenic and short drive to the Chianti Classico region.
9:45 AM - Arrive in Greve in Chianti, one of the most important and charming towns in the area. You'll have time to explore its unique triangular square, Piazza Matteotti, and visit the artisan shops and local wine bars.
11:00 AM - After the visit to Greve, you'll head to a typical, family-run winery nearby. The owner or a wine expert will guide you through the vineyards and cellars, explaining the winemaking process.
12:00 PM - This will be followed by a guided tasting of their wines, including the famous Chianti Classico. The tasting will be accompanied by a light snack of local products such as Tuscan cheeses and cured meats.
1:00 PM - Depart from the winery for the return trip to Florence.
2:00 PM - Arrive back at your accommodation in Florence.
