Private Chianti Wine Tour with Sommelier & Dinner from Florence
Here is what's in store for you
Your day in the Chianti region begins when a private, certified sommelier meets you in Florence to guide you through the Tuscan hills. The tour is built around two boutique wineries, selected from top local producers like Tenuta degli Dei or Tenuta Palagio di Panzano, depending on availability.
At the first stop, you will tour the estate to see how the region's famous wines are made, followed by a guided tasting in the dedicated tasting room. The journey continues to a second winery for another tasting, held in the tasting room.
Across the two visits, you will taste approximately eight red wines, exploring different expressions of the local terroir, including Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, Gran Selezione, and Super Tuscans. The experience also includes a tasting of the estate's own extra virgin olive oil.
To conclude the tour, you will sit down for a traditional Tuscan dinner in the estate's dining room. The meal begins with an appetizer of local cheeses, Prosciutto, Tuscan salami, and Pappa al Pomodoro, followed by a pasta course with a seasonal sauce, and finishes with a traditional dessert.
