Private Cooking Class & Chianti Tasting Tour from Florence
Here is what's in store for you
Your day dedicated to Tuscan flavors begins in Florence, where your private, certified sommelier and guide will pick you up from your accommodation.
From there, you'll travel for about an hour through the countryside to the Chianti region, arriving at a boutique winery near Panzano, such as Tenuta Palagio di Panzano or a similar estate selected for its quality. After a tour of the vineyards and the wine cellar to understand the local winemaking process, you'll join an expert local chef for a private, hands-on cooking class. In a space designed for cooking experiences, you will prepare a complete four-course Tuscan meal from scratch, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The menu typically includes an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, giving you a direct experience with traditional regional recipes. Once the class is finished, you'll sit down to enjoy the lunch you've created. The meal is paired with a tasting of four of the estate's wines, showcasing the diversity of the area: a young Chianti, a Chianti Riserva, a Chianti Gran Selezione, and a Super Tuscan. The experience also includes a tasting of the winery's extra virgin olive oil, completing your immersion in local gastronomy before your guide drives you back to Florence.
