Discovering Tascante at Conte Tasca D'Almerita in Etna

At Tenuta Tascante, enjoy a unique wine experience on the majestic northern slope of Mount Etna, surrounded by chestnut forests, terraced vineyards, and the powerful presence of Europe’s most active volcano.

The experience begins with a warm welcome at the estate and continues with a guided walk through the Pianodario vineyard, characterized by its spectacular 99 terraces and the historic Palmento, a traditional structure once used for winemaking.

After exploring the vineyard and learning about Etna’s extraordinary terroir, the experience continues with a guided tasting of four estate wines, including the whites Buonora (Etna Bianco DOC) and C’eragià (Sicilia DOC), as well as the reds Ghiaia Nera (Etna Rosso DOC) and one wine from the estate’s Contrade selection (Rampante, or Sciaranuova, depending on availability).

The tasting is accompanied by a small selection of seasonal and local products, offering a perfect pairing with the wines and an authentic taste of the territory.
