At Terrazze dell'Etna in Randazzo, on the northern slopes of the volcano, you will be welcomed by Roberta, a hospitality professional with WSET Level 2 certification. The experience begins with a guided visit of the property.
After the tour, you'll settle in for dinner surrounded by the atmosphere of the Etna vineyards. The guided tasting features three wines from the estate: the Brut Rosé 36 Months, a Metodo Classico sparkling wine, followed by the Ciuri IGT and Cratere IGT, two distinctive expressions of Nerello Mascalese.
The seasonal dinner starts with a platter of local appetizers, such as potato frittata, Caciotta dei Nebrodi cheese, fresh ricotta, and salami. This is followed by a seasonal pasta course – Pasta alla Norma in summer, lasagna with pumpkin and sausage in autumn, or maccheroncini with artichokes and saffron in spring. The meal concludes with coffee and a traditional almond pastry. A dedicated option is available for children, including pasta with tomato sauce and a soft drink.
