Wine Tasting with Amarone on the Verona Hills at Sparici Landini
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience begins at the Sparici Landini estate, set in the morainic hills of Sona with panoramic views towards Verona. Here, you'll be welcomed by the fourth generation of the family, who continue the legacy started by their ancestor Maddalena Sparici, one of Italy's first female winemakers.
The visit starts with a tour of the winery and its production area. When the weather allows, you'll also take a walk among the olive groves, vineyards, and cypress trees that surround the property. The experience concludes in the tasting room or, in good weather, on the outdoor patio overlooking the landscape. You will have a guided tasting of three wines representative of the area. The selection includes a sparkling wine, a choice between a local white (like Pinot Grigio or Custoza) or red (like Bardolino), and a glass of Amarone, the estate's most noted wine. The tasting is accompanied by breadsticks.
The wines are paired with local Soppressa and Monte Veronese cheese, sourced from a family-run farm in Lessinia. Depending on the season and the number of participants, the tasting may take place on the outdoor patio, in the air-conditioned wine shop, or in a dedicated room on the first floor of the winery's drying loft.

Tour@ Sparici Landini Winery
First with a taste of different wines they produce and bottle (Valpolicella, Pinot Grigio, Amarone) in the heartland of Valpolicella between Lake Garda and Venice. Delicious wines. Later with a very amusing and interesting tour on the golfcart through their vineyards and different grape-cultivations. Beautiful views on the surroundings (Verona, Valpolicella) en the vineyards.
Down to earth approach, not posh at al. Of course you can also buy the wines, but there's no pushing.
different taste-packages (from 3 to 5).
We had a sparkling wine (fresh and fruity), a very good pinot grigio
and ended with the graceful Amorone.
