Valpolicella Wine Tasting & Food Pairing at DolceVera in Negrar
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to DolceVera begins with a welcome from either Marco, the owner, or his wife, Clarissa. They will guide you on a walk through the estate's vineyards, explaining the work that goes into cultivating the grapes for Valpolicella's famous wines. The tour continues inside the winery and down into the barrel cellar, where you'll learn about the passion and process behind their winemaking.
Following the tour, your tasting will be set up in a location chosen for the season. During spring and summer, you'll be on the panoramic terrace overlooking the landscape. In autumn and winter, the tasting moves to the cozy indoor tasting room.
You will taste four of the estate's red wines, each representing a key style of the Valpolicella denomination: a Valpolicella Classico, a Valpolicella Classico Superiore, a Ripasso, and the celebrated Amarone. The wines will be paired with a board of traditional local products, including soppressa and Monte Veronese cheese.

A 'superior' tasting
Time flew by, from the story of the places, to the one about the winemaking process, to the personal choices, everything was truly interesting.
The owner knows how to put you at ease right away, he conveys the passion for his work and for the territory, and the resulting wine is proof of it!
And the fireplace is the icing on the cake.
We will definitely be back

Excellent experience
It was very much appreciated by the whole family, even by those who don't know much about wine.
Great value for money, we recommend it.
It feels like home
Part of the location was under construction for the expansion so desired by his grandfather and never started. With a breathtaking terrace and the new part of the cellar that connects the old part with the new.
Excellent explanation of the wines, accompanied by local delicacies and a structured tasting flight.
Congratulations to Marco for what he is building, starting from his grandfather's dreams!
