Three Basque Wine Appellations Tasting, Private Sailboat Bilbao
Here is what's in store for you
Bizkaiko Txakolina. Getariako Txakolina. Rioja Alavesa. Three distinct expressions of the Basque wine identity, tasted side by side on board a private sailing boat in the open waters off Bilbao. A wine expert who has spent years guiding guests through these appellations leads the session from the deck, with the Vizcaya Bridge on the horizon and the Atlantic of El Abra below.
Six wines, local snacks, and approximately four hours on the water. The route passes beneath the Vizcaya Bridge — a UNESCO World Heritage site — and along the dramatic cliffs of Getxo. No cellar, no classroom: the setting becomes part of what you learn about Basque wine.
The boat is chartered exclusively for your group. No shared departures. Maximum eight guests. Suitable for wine enthusiasts at any level, from first-time visitors to experienced collectors.
