Single-Vineyard Cru Wine Tasting at Fratelli Tedeschi in Valpolicella

Some estates have a bottle that changed everything. For the Tedeschi family, in the Classico heart of Valpolicella, it was Capitel Monte Olmi, the single vineyard Lorenzo Tedeschi bottled on its own in 1964, one of the region's first recognized crus.

This tasting follows that idea from start to finish. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by Valentina from the hospitality team or by a member of the Tedeschi family, Antonietta, Sabrina, Riccardo, or Enrico.
They will guide you first through the winery to see where the vinification and aging take place. The experience then moves to the tasting room for a seated tasting of four red wines, each from one of the family's most important vineyards, allowing you to taste the estate plot by plot.

The flight is built on the Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes that define Valpolicella:
- Maternigo Valpolicella Superiore DOC: From the single Maternigo vineyard, a Superiore built for finesse rather than force.
- La Fabriseria Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC: From high-altitude plots, where cooler air keeps the fruit lifted and the aromatics fine.
- Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva: The cru that started it all. An Amarone Riserva made by the appassimento method, with grapes dried for months before pressing.
- B107 Valpolicella Superiore DOC, Limited Edition: The outlier of the flight, from a grape-selection research project to isolate the best plant material.

A selection of local cheeses, such as Monte Veronese or cheese aged in Amarone, will be served to pair with the structure of each wine. 

Children are welcome to join the tour and they will be served water and breadsticks, too.
