Setúbal at an Easy Pace: A Relaxed Group Wine Day Tour with Two Producers from Lisbon
Here is what's in store for you
Setúbal is the region serious wine travellers keep meaning to reach, and this is the relaxed way to do it. A short drive over the Vasco da Gama Bridge from Lisbon brings you to a peninsula known for its celebrated Moscatel de Setúbal, Atlantic-influenced whites, and limestone-grown reds.
The day is built to be gentle. At the first family estate, you tour the vineyard and cellar, hear the story of the place, and sit to a guided tasting of four wines plus Moscatel, paired with local cheese, charcuterie, jams, and artisanal bread. After a long Portuguese lunch in the town of Setúbal, the afternoon eases into Quinta de Alcube, a cozy winery and working farm where you pour more local wines at your own pace, wander the vines, and let the countryside do the rest.
It is a small shared group, everything is included, and the pace is the point. If Indulgence is the wine-deep day, this is the one for travellers who would rather linger than rush.
