Your experience begins with a comfortable pick-up anywhere in the Greater Lisbon area before heading into the Portuguese countryside aboard a private SUV or sedan. Accompanied by a local guide, you will travel through scenic landscapes of rolling hills, vineyards, charming villages, and traditional windmills while discovering the hidden wine regions of Torres Vedras, Alenquer, Bombarral, or Cadaval.
The day includes visits to two renowned wineries, ranging from prestigious estates to authentic family-run producers. During the winery visits, you will tour vineyards and cellars, learn about local winemaking traditions, and enjoy up to 8 wine tastings paired with regional tapas and local delicacies.
Beyond wine, this experience also takes you to two of Portugal’s most iconic destinations. In Nazaré, admire spectacular ocean views from dramatic cliffside viewpoints and discover the world-famous giant waves that have made this coastal town legendary among surfers. Explore its historic fort, traditional fishermen’s quarter, golden beach, and charming atmosphere overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
You will then continue to the enchanting medieval town of Óbidos, one of Portugal’s most picturesque villages. Wander through narrow cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses decorated with colorful flowers, discover the medieval castle and ancient walls, and enjoy free time to explore artisan shops and local crafts. During your visit, you will also taste the famous local cherry liqueur, Ginjinha d’Óbidos, traditionally served in a chocolate cup.
If time allows, there may also be an additional stop at the lively local market of Caldas da Rainha, famous for its authentic atmosphere and colorful local products.

Please note: Although you can choose from 4 available languages for this tour, the guided visits and commented wine tastings at the wineries will be in English or Portuguese. Although the tour is private, the visits and tastings at the wineries can be done in small groups with other visitors.Accessibility: foldable wheelchair and stroller accessible. Child and infant car seats are available if required.
