This half-day experience takes you on a journey through Ston, home to the second-longest defensive walls in the world after the Great Wall of China, and one of the oldest salt factories in Europe. After exploring the medieval town, you will head to an oyster farm, where you’ll taste freshly harvested oysters straight from the sea, paired with local wines.
The experience continues with a visit to a renowned Croatian winery, where you will meet the winemaker and enjoy a guided tasting of 3-4 wines, including barrel and bottle samples. You’ll also learn about wine and food pairing principles, while savoring local cheeses, olive oil, and prosciutto.
This tour is led by an expert guide and provides a deep dive into Croatian winemaking heritage and oyster farming traditions, which date back to the 12th century.
