Come and discover the Poças Wine Cellar, an independent family-owned business run by the Poças family since its foundation in 1918.
During this tour, you will have the chance to experience the unforgettable atmosphere of a true Port wine cellar and learn everything about the production of Port Wine — what makes it unique, its defining characteristics, and how to taste a wine that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
You will taste the old Tawny Ports that built Poças’s reputation over the past 100 years and discover new and surprising ways to enjoy Port Wine.
The experience includes a tasting of 3 Port wines.

Tour available all year round from Tuesday to Sunday in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French and Italian, as follows:Low Season (November 1st to April 30th): *11.00 in French *11:30 in English *12:00 in Spanish *14:30 in English *15:00 in Italian *15:30 in English *16:00 in Portuguese *16h00 in English *16:30 in Spanish.
High Season (May 1st to October 31st): *11:00 in French *11:30 in English *12:00 in Spanish *14:30 in English *15:00 in Italian *15.30 in English *16:00 in Portuguese *17:00 in Spanish *17:30 in English.
Note: Mondays are closed. Days closed annually: 01 January; June 24th (always); December 24th and 25th; December 31st.
