Etna Flavors - Etna Doc Wine Tasting - La Gelsomina
Here is what's in store for you
La Gelsomina is located on the north-east side of Etna in the town of Presa, in a natural context of great beauty and winemaking vocation. Since 2018, we have partnered with Tenute Orestiadi (Gibellina, TP), a collaboration that allows us to offer, in a single experience, both Etna DOC wines and those from the opposite side of Sicily. This tasting journey allows our guests to appreciate the distinct differences resulting from varying terroirs, grape varieties, and microclimates.
The experience begins with a tour of the vineyards that take the form of an amphitheater, enjoying the spectacular panoramic sea view, a visit to the ancient Palmento (old wine press), and the new cellar.
Tasting of 4 wines in combination with a light lunch: Roll of spaghetti with tomato sauce and fried eggplant, spinach omelet, parmigiana, bread, breadsticks, extra virgin olive oil, salami, olives, 3 types of typical cheese (Ragusano DOP, pecorino, provola), almond cookie.

Where we are and how to reach us
Arrive at Via San Giovanni Bosco, 26 Presa, Piedimonte Etneo (CT) and follow the signs for La Gelsomina. The property is located 1 Km from the main road. Free parking available on the property.
