Comfort in Antica Masseria Jorche: Wine tasting, dinner and overnight stay in the Apulia of Primitivo
Here is what's in store for you
Upon your arrival at Antica Masseria Jorche, you'll be welcomed with an aperitif, during which you will taste a glass of Jorche's Sosò Bianco D’Alessano IGP Salento, accompanied by homemade friselline topped with fresh tomatoes and Jorche's Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The aperitif will be followed by a guided tour of the winery and its vineyard. During the tour in the underground barrique cellar, you will have the opportunity to taste a glass of a Primitivo tapped directly from the barrique. This will be followed by another glass of the same wine - Primitivo di Manduria DOP - poured from the bottle. This will allow you to compare aging wine with the finished product. The Primitivo tasting will be accompanied by a taste of locally produced Pecorino cheese. At the end of the guided tour, you will be offered a glass of Primitivo di Manduria DOCG Dolce Naturale accompanied by pezzi duri, typical Apulian sweets made with almonds.
After the winery tour, you will enjoy a typical Apulian dinner in the Masseria's restaurant, located in an ancient XVIII century half-underground oil mill. The dinner menu is to be agreed upon when booking according to your preferences.
Finally, you will spend a night in one of the lovely double rooms of the Masseria. The next day, you will end your experience with a nutritious breakfast.

A pleasant discovery
The wine tour in the cellar was exhaustive and very interesting. A modern facility with a very well-kept and intriguing barrel room. The tasting room is also beautiful.
High-level wines that are produced from Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano, and Bianco di Alessano grapes.
The welcome at the masseria is simple and well-structured. Excellent dinner at the estate's restaurant with quality cuisine.
A point of reference for the area.
Incredible Venue, Dinner & Wine tour
- The hotel is a beautiful restoration that preserves the history of the building.
- Generous pre-dinner aperitivo (Saturday night) held by one of the owners.
- Set-menu dinner - 4 delicious courses
- Wine tour was a perfect balance of technical insights into winemaking and warm/friendly storytelling taking you from the vineyard outside, to the barrels / bottling and even a look at the analysis lab (rare in wine tours). Great wines paired with local cheese/savoury bites over about 2 hours.
