Amphora Wine Experience in Taormina

We wanted to dive deep down into our past, trying to figure out what led to the development of our beloved wine culture.

We found ways to put our hands over some beautiful replicas of the Greek “Kylix”, the terracotta cups the Ancient Greeks used to drink wine from during their symposiums, and we chose 3 different wines, all made in amphoras, to bring to your table as examples of what our culture can and used to offer. An immersive tasting, created to explore and bring clarity on what these ancient techniques require and actually cause to the final product. 

The experience includes a tasting of 3 wines, strictly artisanal, all handpicked from within Sicily, enjoyed from our terracotta “Kylix” replicas and accompanied by our WSET3-certified wine expert’s stories on the topic.
