Tenuta Ballerio is located in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese, just one and a half hours from Milan and Genoa, close to the main UNESCO sites of a region where wine is much more than a tradition.

The experience includes a complete tour of the vineyards and winery, during which you will discover the secrets of the winemaking process and hear fascinating stories connected to the history of the area.

Wine then takes center stage with a guided tasting of four wines.

Wines included in the tasting*:
- Pinot Nero DOCG Traditional Method Sparkling Wine, aged 54 months
- Sinfonia in Bianco IGT
- Pinot Nero Riserva IGT
- Croatina or Merlot Riserva IGT

The experience is complemented by platters of local cured meats and cheeses, carefully selected from the finest regional products.

A tasting I will not forget
Everything was perfect, our guide, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, managed to make us perfectly enter the wonderful world of this land, the Oltrepò Pavese, a territory that is not valued enough despite being wonderful from every point of view.
The quality of the wines tasted was exceptional and the pairings were spot-on and of high quality.
I thank the Ballerio estate and especially its staff.
No suggestions, everything was perfect.

A wonderful experience
It was a beautiful afternoon, a different kind of tasting. We walked through the vineyards tasting the first three glasses with a detailed explanation from the oenologist, from the harvest to the production of their wines. We learned so many new things. Then we went to the actual tasting with platters of cured meats and cheeses, where they explained how to taste the other 4 glasses, paired with what we were about to eat. Everyone was truly cordial, hospitable, and very kind. Obviously we bought their wines. Truly a wonderful experience. Congratulations
