Wine Tasting Experience at Fattoria Dianella 1
Here is what's in store for you
Fattoria Dianella 1 is nestled among the Tuscan hills in the countryside of Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci.
For now four generations, the Lunardi family has maintained their passion for the land. During this experience, you will be welcomed and guided by Francesco, the production manager and owner of the winery.
You will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills and walk among the rows of vines. Francesco will tell you the history of the family and the birth of the winery, to then show you the various processes of wine production with a visit to the cellar.
After that, you will be led to the wine shop where you will have the opportunity to taste 3 or 4 wines, depending on your choice. The wines featured in the tasting represent the tradition and territory of Tuscany; an assorted range from white and red IGT wines to DOCG.
Otherwise, upgrade your experience to a premium tasting, and enjoy a tasting of 4 wines from the winery's Superior range.
Both options include an accompanying technical explanation of the wines and bruschetta with Fattoria Dianella's extra virgin olive oil.

As good as their wine!
Even though we had slight communication difficulties with the owner at the beginning (language barrier), it soon became a very lovely atmosphere and we were shown the whole vineyards and we understood everything essential that we wanted to know.
The wine tasting itself was super professional and lovely, I would definitely book it again!

Sensory journey
We were welcomed by Francesco who accompanied us on the tour of the farm, explaining their history and providing very detailed explanations about the wines they produce.
Afterwards we went to their Wine Shop where we were welcomed by Federica for the tasting of their wines.
Federica, being a sommelier, guided us through the tasting of the wines, explaining to us in great detail how to perform the visual, olfactory, and gustatory evaluation of the wine.
My wife and I defined this visit with tasting a splendid sensory journey, masterfully explained by Francesco and Federica, who made us spend 3 magnificent hours in the hills of Vinci.
