Live an authentic wine tasting experience in Val d’Orcia at Atrivm Winery, a relaxed and welcoming family-run estate located in Montalcino (Siena, Tuscany, Italy). Your journey begins with a welcome toast featuring either a crisp white wine or the elegant Bulles Rosé Classic Method. As your hosts introduce you to the philosophy of FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Vintners, you will learn what makes Atrivm’s artisanal approach unique in the heart of Tuscany.

You will then enjoy a scenic walk through the vineyards, surrounded by rows of Sangiovese and centuries-old olive trees where the winery’s bee families graze freely. The experience continues inside the fermentation cellar and the evocative barrel room, where Atrivm’s red wines mature slowly to achieve depth and elegance.

The tour ends in the tasting room, where you will enjoy a guided tasting of 3 Atrivm red wines: starting with the red IGT Asso, followed by Orcia Sangiovese DOC and the refined Orcia Sangiovese Riserva DOC. The tasting is paired with a rich board of local cold cuts, cheese, bruschetta with Atrivm’s extra virgin olive oil, and honey produced directly from the estate’s beehives.

Great family tasting
Kindness, helpfulness and passion were the characteristics of the small farm that hosted us for a complete tasting of a white wine, several reds, accompanied by a platter with various local zero-mile products, vin santo and even a grappa. Kindness and authenticity at the Atrivm winery
We spent a pleasant afternoon at the Atrivm winery, we had trouble reaching the location and they came to meet us by giving us a ride. We started with the tasting, sampling quality products and wines accompanied by a detailed explanation of the products, then we continued with a walk through the vineyards and the cellar. They were very kind and helpful. We will return to say hello to them!

A Family Welcome
The visit to the Atrium winery's vineyard and the subsequent tasting were more than just that. Sonia and Roberto accompanied us on a walk through the vines and inside the winemaking areas, telling us the story of a family and of the generations that have followed one another on the land we were crossing. There was no shortage of anecdotes, the willingness to answer all our questions, and the warmth typical of this welcoming region. The wines, the icing on the cake, accompanied a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses, all of them invariably delicious. We left with a few bottles, available for purchase, and with some of the house honey. Recommended for anyone passing through these parts.
