A discovery tour of Emilia Romagna’s native grape varieties, through a tasting of Umberto Cesari’s wines that represent the best expression of their growing areas’ traditions.
The Classic Tour includes a visit to the aging cellar and a tasting of three typical wines, paired with regional specialties carefully selected from Umberto Cesari's excellent partners, ambassadors of the region's fine food. Wines to be tasted: Colle Belvedere, Colle del Re, and Sangiovese Riserva.
Food pairings:
- Pear-flavoured Pecorino cheese, citrus confiture and flaky breadsticks.
- Salty croissant served with Palmieri’s Mortadella La Favolosa and hazelnut crumbs.
- Golinelli’s Delicatessen Artisan dry sauge, fresh blueberries, and warm piadina bread cooked on stone.
