The Traditional Frascati Wine Tour with Farmhouse Lunch at Minardi Winery

Once you arrive at Frascati railway station at 10:20 a.m., the experience will begin with a visit to the old town of Frascati. You'll explore the places and stories behind the area's rich wine and food traditions, with a chance to taste artisanal wine paired with a local snack. After the Frascati visit, a transfer will take you to the Minardi Wine Farmhouse with a quick 7-minute drive.

Upon arrival at the farmhouse, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of boutique wines from the Minardi family’s production. This includes Frascati Superiore DOCG white wine varieties and the Vagnolo IGP red wine, made from 100% Cesanese grapes. The tasting will be accompanied by the family’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil, as well as cheese and wine jam. Following the tasting, you’ll take a tour through the old vineyards to experience the history of winemaking and learn about the traditional farming techniques that have been preserved for centuries. The Minardi Wine Farmhouse serves as a "Frascati Wine Museum," surrounded by ancient vineyards and olive groves.

A delicious lunch will be served, prepared by the in-house chef, featuring a rich appetizer with a variety of seasonal local dishes and a typical first course. The meal is rounded off with an artisanal Frascati sweet, white wine, and water. The chef's lunch can also accommodate vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free preferences upon request when booking. At the end of the experience, you’ll be driven back to the Frascati center, where you can take a train back to Rome, with departures every hour until the evening. This will be a truly unique experience in the picturesque hills surrounding the Eternal City.
