Vertical Lugana DOC Tasting with Local Products at Tenuta Frontelago in Sirmione
Here is what's in store for you
At Tenuta Frontelago, a small family-run winery in Sirmione, Sara Dal Cero will welcome you to the heart of the Lugana wine region. Together with her brother Stefano, Sara represents the third generation to cultivate these vineyards, and the first to produce wine under the family's own label.
Your experience begins with a guided visit of the vineyard and the winery, where you'll learn about the family's history and their hands-on approach to viticulture. The tour is followed by a guided vertical tasting designed to showcase the character and versatility of the local wine. You will taste three different vintages of Tenuta Frontelago's Lugana DOC, discovering how the white wine develops and ages over time.
On clear days, the tasting is held under the winery's covered porch overlooking the vineyard; otherwise, you will be welcomed into the indoor tasting room. The three wines are accompanied by a platter of local products, including aged Fassa cheese, Formagella di Tremosine, lonzino, salami, and speck from the Brescia area, served with jam and breadsticks.

Super
Young ones to bet on
Exclusive tour and detailed explanations, the family management was evident and for us it was a plus.
Tastings and platter with standard quantities, curious pairings between the cheeses and the proposed sauces, you can see a refined effort.
A shame we couldn't tour the vineyard, even partially, for this reason 4 stars.
Being "young" unfortunately you can only buy one vintage, but there is a solution...
