Little enthusiasm, what a pity
Upon our arrival, the first thing said by the very young owner is that the winery is not visitable because of the harvest. I politely point out that perhaps they could have avoided accepting reservations, especially since having booked the day before, the harvest had already started and they knew it. Smug and unpleasant replies. Expressions of annoyance when at the fourth wine we ask to be able to change the glass. We are told that the four-wine tasting was booked while we had booked the seven-wine one. With ONE table I expect that there can be no confusion about what was booked, there was no one else. Excellent, very pleasant wines and quality accompanying food. I would have given a higher rating had it not been for the unpleasantness and rough manners, also because I appreciate small businesses. Just a table for two, I expect kindness and cordiality. Having purchased the excellent wines, we asked for directions on where we could go for an aperitif, since the venue was closing. We were recommended a place that was closed.
Perhaps, being a small business, I expected less smugness and more desire to share one's passion.
Tasting with a spectacular view
The quality of both the food and the wines was excellent, everything was well-prepared and absolutely in line with expectations.
The staff proved to be kind, welcoming, and always available, helping to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
An added value was undoubtedly the view: simply amazing, it made the experience even more special.
Overall, an experience I recommend without a doubt!
