Prosecco & Cheese: Full-Day Wine Tour from Venice
Here is what's in store for you
Experience Italy’s finest Prosecco, produced strictly within the DOCG wine appellation district, and very delicious cheeses produced by family-run Fattoria Perenzin, with this private wine tour departing from Venice!
In the morning, you will have the opportunity to savor the typical “formaggi di malga” (mountain cheeses); delicacies like stravecchio, sottofieno, morlacco, and smoked ricotta, that the knowledgeable staff of Fattoria Perenzin has been producing for generations.
The day continues with a visit to two different wineries for a tour of the cellars and a tasting of four different types of Prosecco (Brut, extra dry, millesimato, extra brut) in each winery. At one of the wineries, the wine tasting will be served alongside a light lunch made of tasty platters of typical local cold cuts and traditional Italian focaccia.
On the Prosecco & Cheese wine tour, you will discover together with an English-speaking guide all the secrets of the production of Prosecco and cheese. The tour will also include a scenic ride through the enchanting hills of Prosecco (now Unesco Heritage) along charming villages and rolling vineyards.
