Moet et Chandon & Taittinger – Private Champagne Day Tour from Paris
Here is what's in store for you
07:30 – Pickup at your hotel and departure for the Champagne region (approx. 140 km, 2 hours). A short stop will be made along the way. Part of the drive passes through beautiful vineyard landscapes.
10:00 – 12:00 – Arrival in Épernay for a guided tour of the Moët & Chandon cellars, followed by a tasting experience of your choice (see options). Moët & Chandon is the largest Champagne producer in the world; statistically, a bottle is opened every second somewhere around the globe.
12:00 – 13:30: Free time for lunch in Épernay, the “Capital of Champagne,” home to many prestigious maisons and the famous Avenue de Champagne.
13:30 – 14:00 – Short drive to Hautvillers (10 minutes). Visit the historic Abbey Church of Saint-Sindulphe, founded in 665 and closely linked to Dom Pérignon, who contributed to modern Champagne winemaking. A stop at the panoramic viewpoint offers exceptional views over the vineyards and the Marne Valley. Departure for Reims follows (30 minutes).
14:30 – 16:00 – Guided visit of Taittinger's cellars followed by a tasting experience of your choice (see options).
16:15 – 16:45 – Self-guided visit of the magnificent Reims Cathedral, traditional coronation site of the French kings.
16:45 – Drive back to Paris (approx. 2.5 hours).
19:30 – Arrival in Paris. Drop off at your hotel.
