Lisbon Food and Wine Tour with Local Tastings
Here is what's in store for you
Join a local guide for a small-group food and wine tour through the vibrant streets of Lisbon, where tradition, flavor, and culture come together in every bite and sip. Your experience begins in the heart of the city, where you’ll meet your group and set off on a relaxed walking tour through some of Lisbon’s most authentic neighborhoods. Along the way, you’ll stop at traditional taverns and hidden local spots, each offering a chance to taste the true flavors of Portugal.
Throughout the tour, you’ll enjoy eight different food tastings, including classic dishes like codfish cakes (pastéis de bacalhau), flame-grilled chouriço, regional cheeses, and the famous pastel de nata. Each stop is thoughtfully paired with local drinks: three Portuguese wines, including a crisp Vinho Verde, a smooth red, Port wine and a glass of Ginjinha, Lisbon’s beloved cherry liqueur. While you taste, your guide will share insights into Lisbon’s rich culinary heritage, the stories behind the recipes, and how food and wine have shaped the city’s culture.
As you explore the historic center of Lisbon, you’ll not only enjoy delicious tastings, but also discover the charm of its traditional architecture, lively streets, and warm atmosphere. With a small group size, this experience offers a more personal connection with the city and its flavors, making it ideal for curious travelers, food lovers, and wine enthusiasts alike. This is more than just a tasting — it’s a cultural journey through the heart of Lisbon.
