Here is what's in store for you
Embark on a captivating full-day tour exploring the incredible archaeological sites of Pompeii and Oplontis, followed by a wine tasting and local lunch at Cantina del Vesuvio. Your private English-speaking driver will pick you up in Naples and take you through the rich history of the Roman Empire, starting with the Villa of Poppea in Oplontis, a luxurious residence attributed to Nero’s wife, Poppea Sabina. The visit continues to the iconic ruins of Pompeii, a once-thriving Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
In the afternoon, you’ll stop at Cantina del Vesuvio, a winery set on the slopes of the volcano, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of 3–4 wines and a traditional four-course lunch featuring local specialties like volcanic tomato pasta and Neapolitan dessert (tasting + lunch not included in the base price).
A licensed guide can be added upon request for both sites to fully appreciate the archaeological and historical richness.
