Full-Day Tour to Positano, Sorrento & Vesuvio Winery
Here is what's in store for you
Discover the beauty and flavors of the Amalfi Coast and Mount Vesuvius with this full-day private tour. Starting from Naples, you'll travel comfortably in a luxury Mercedes Benz van with a knowledgeable English-speaking driver.
The journey begins with a stop in Positano, the picturesque pastel-colored village built vertically on the cliffs. You'll have 1 hour of free time to wander its narrow streets, enjoy a coffee by the beach, or do some boutique shopping.
Next, continue to Sorrento, the land of limoncello and handcrafted wood inlay. Enjoy another hour of free time to explore local artisan shops offering ceramics, leather goods, linen clothing, and more.
The final stop is at Vineria Famiglia Russo. Set at this family-run winery, this experience combines a guided walk through the surrounding vineyards with a visit to the private estate, which features elegant indoor rooms and a panoramic terrace overlooking the Gulf of Castellammare. Throughout your visit, you'll taste a range of wines made in-house by the family.
You'll be welcomed by a member of the family or the team with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a guided tasting of a 4 wines among a selection of white, rosé, and reds. Pours are unlimited! Amongs the wines produced, you'll be able to taste and discover the famous Lacryma Christi DOC in various styles, from the Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC Bianco Superiore to the Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC Rosato; you'll also taste the Capafresca Rosé Spumante
The tasting is paired with a hearty four-course menu:
A generous board of local cured meats and cheeses served with sweet preserves, bruschetta, and regional specialties
A plate of pasta with Vesuvius tomato sauce and meatballs
A homemade dessert: the traditional Neapolitan Pastiera, made with wheat and ricotta
A house digestif, such as limoncello or another local specialty
Children will have a dedicated menù, generally based on pasta with tomato souce.
At the end of the tour back to the starting point to end this great day on the road. The transfer back to the hotel can last 45 minutes but it can also take longer, depending on traffic
