Cooking Class and Dinner with Wine Tasting at Fattoria di Corsignano

Your experience at Fattoria di Corsignano begins with a sunset aperitif, featuring bruschetta with the farm's own extra virgin olive oil. A member of the family or one of the expert staff will then guide you on a short walk through the vineyards and into the cellar.

You’ll then join the estate’s chef in the restaurant for a hands-on cooking class. You will prepare a complete four-course Tuscan meal using fresh, local ingredients. Depending on the selected menu, dishes may include panzanella, pappa al pomodoro, handmade pappardelle, ravioli, ricotta and spinach malfatti, or potato gnocchi. You might also prepare stuffed chicken or rabbit with herbs, followed by a chocolate cake, apple dessert, rustic tart, or tiramisù.

In summer, weather permitting, the class and dinner move outdoors to the covered portico overlooking the swimming pool and vineyards.

The evening culminates in a four-course dinner where you'll enjoy the very dishes you helped create. Each course is paired with a wine from the estate. The tasting includes five wines, starting with La Famiglia Rosso IGT or Levitate Rosato IGT, followed by two reds – La Coppia Chianti Classico DOCG and L’Imperatore Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, and concluding with the sweet Vin Santo.

Children are welcome to join the class; they will be served a soft drink instead of wine and a simpler menu.
