Corvina Tasting Experience at Poggio delle Grazie on Lake Garda
Here is what's in store for you
Poggio delle Grazie awaits you in a beautiful area just south of Lake Garda for this wine tasting experience.
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by Elisabetta near the wine shop, who will begin by telling you about her family's adventure in Poggio delle Grazie.
After a walk through the Corvina vineyards and a visit to the winery, you will be able to take a seat in front of the vineyards and start tasting a selection of five wines made just by vinifying the same grape in different ways!
It will be a fun yet interesting experience to learn about the versatility of this typically Veronese grape variety. You will taste L'Ambizioso, a sparkling wine fermented in the bottle, Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC, Cru LA ROCCA BARDOLINO DOC, QUADRIVIUM Corvina in purity, and finally the winery's Metodo Classico made from Corvina grapes, all accompanied by some appetizers prepared with local and seasonal products, such as cheese and cold cuts.

Ferragosto of... wine
The presentation of the estate, the company, and the family's work was interesting, we felt free to ask questions and we discovered new things and some small yet significant gestures that wineries respectful of organic farming, like this one, perform every day.
The wines tasted were exceptional, explained and presented very professionally but without being boring, the food pairing was great—neither too much nor too little—and a big plus was the attention given to food intolerances (not something you take for granted).
Truly a tasting worthy of the name, where yes, you taste the wine, but you also savor the passion that involves the family—a family that shines through in the "invention" of a particular wine, in the wonder of opening a bottle and seeing a more or less intense pink hue, and in the satisfaction of offering a good wine!
We decided to take a piece of that passion home with us, even though we will definitely have to come back for the olive oil because it won us over. Highly recommended! And truly, congratulations once again to Elisabetta and the whole family!
