Your tour begins in Florence, traveling into the heart of the Florentine Chianti Classico. The first stop is a small, organic winery where the owner will guide you through the property, explaining the process of winemaking from the vineyard to the cellar. Here, you'll have your first tasting of the estate's wines, paired with a selection of local products.
The journey continues along the historic 'Via Chiantigiana' road, crossing into the Sienese Chianti Classico area. The second visit is to a family-run organic winery, where the winemaker will welcome you with a walk through the vineyards. You will then tour the cellars and the aromatic garden before settling in for the second tasting.
Across the two stops, you will sample a range of the region's wines, including Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, a Supertuscan, and a Spumante from different vintages. The tastings are accompanied by typical Tuscan foods such as Pecorino cheese, Finocchiona salami, Prosciutto, bruschetta with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Cantuccini biscuits.
