Bologna Hills Walk & Wine Experience with 2 Winery Visits

We'll meet at Bologna Centrale station and take a train west to the Hills of Bologna.

After breakfast at a gourmet pastry shop, we'll start with a short walk to the first winery. Here we'll see the vines and winemaking cellars and enjoy lovely views and a tasting of 3 or 4 wines and generous typical food pairings. 

From here we'll continue our walk (about 5 km) at a leisurely pace, all on country roads with stunning views over the hills. When we reach the second historic family-run winery, a top specialist in the local varieties. The owner will show us around, tell us more about the local winemaking traditions, and answer any questions on winemaking in general. Here, too, we'll try 3 or 4 wines with typical pairings. 

Finally, we'll stroll to the station (5 minutes) for the train back to central Bologna.
