Organic & Vegan Wine Tasting at the Historic Solimago Winery near Lake Garda

Your visit to Solimago begins in an ancient village near the southern shore of Lake Garda, in a landscape tied to the Italian Risorgimento. The owner will personally welcome you to this certified organic and vegan estate.
The tour starts with the historic property, where the local population took refuge during the decisive 1859 Battle of Solferino. You will visit the House Museum, which preserves relics from this period of Italian unification, before continuing into the vineyards on the cypress-covered hill below the Rocca di Solferino fortress. Here, your host will explain Solimago's organic cultivation methods and the connection between the estate's wines, its history, and the surrounding land.
Following the tour, you will take a seat in the reception room of the historic residence for a guided tasting of four estate-certified organic wines. The tasting includes the white Sole di Solimago, the rosé Eros di Solimago, Ombra di Solimago from Merlot grapes, and Bark di Solimago, an aged blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are served with taralli. For younger participants, grape juice will be served.
