Barrique Wine Selection & Lunch at a Chianti Classico Winery from Florence

Depart from Florence for a special wine blending and tasting experience at a boutique winery in the heart of Chianti Classico. After approximately one hour by dedicated Mercedes vehicle, arrive at the estate and discover its terroir and winemaking philosophy during a winery visit, which may include the vineyards, aging cellar, barrel room, and production area depending on the season and the winery.

Then, put your palate to the test by creating your own personalized wine. Guided by an expert winemaker, experiment with blending different grape varieties and discover how each component contributes to the character and balance of the final wine. At the end of the activity, taste your custom blend with a personalized label while gaining a deeper understanding of wine and the art of blending. You will also have the opportunity to inquire about purchasing your personalized blend in larger quantities.

Complete the experience with a traditional 3-course Tuscan lunch consisting of a starter, first course, and dessert, with dishes varying according to seasonality and the chef's selection. Lunch is accompanied by a tasting of 6 wines selected from those produced by the host winery. Depending on availability, the selection generally features Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and other Tuscan red or white wines from the estate.

Depending on the season and weather conditions, the blending activity and lunch generally take place under the winery's outdoor pergola or in a dedicated tasting room, offering an intimate setting in which to experience the wines and flavors of Chianti Classico.
