The Algarve Vineyard Food Tour can begin in two different ways of your choice:
1 - In the Vineyard Experience, participants visit a local wine estate where they are introduced to Algarve Gourmet and its story, while learning about the Algarve terroir, regional grape varieties, and the winemaking methods that define Algarve wines. During the visit, traditional fruit trees are also presented, highlighting their historical importance in the region’s diet and local economy.
2 - In the Municipal Market Experience, the tour begins among stalls of fresh produce and local producers. This moment allows guests to discover the ingredients that form the foundation of Algarve cuisine and better understand the strong relationship between agriculture, seasonality, and gastronomy.

Following this introduction to the territory and its products, the experience continues in the Algarve Gourmet tasting room overlooking the vineyards.
Here, participants enjoy a gastronomic lunch consisting of six regional tapas and a signature dessert, prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers.
The menu may include fish and seafood from the Algarve coast, regional meats and cured products, artisan bread baked in a wood-fired oven, vegetables and fruits from the Barrocal Algarvio, as well as reinterpreted traditional desserts.
The meal is paired with two glasses of estate wine, concluding with a tasting of a Portuguese fortified wine.
This experience offers a true sensory journey through Algarve gastronomic culture in an intimate vineyard setting.
At the end, participants also have the opportunity to purchase estate wines and a selection of regional products.
Options for dietary restrictions or intolerances are available upon prior request, according to our pricing (additional cost of €15 per person per tapa changed).
For added comfort, the Algarve Private Vineyard Food Tour may include exclusive transport with pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation.

The menu is fixed and may be requested in advance. Minor changes may occur depending on product seasonality and availability.
Dietary restrictions must be communicated at the time of booking. Alternative menus are available with at least 24 hours’ notice, at an additional cost of €15 per person per tapa changed, payable directly on site. PLEASE INFORM AND CHOOSE WHEN BOOKING
Non-Alcoholic Options: Participants who do not consume wine may choose lemonade, fresh juice, or water with no additional cost. One beverage per group will be provided. PLEASE INFORM AND CHOOSE WHEN BOOKING.
