Your visit to Cantina Baldassarri begins with a welcome from Francesco, the founder's grandson.
He will personally guide you on a walk through the family's vineyards and into the winery, explaining each step of the winemaking process from grape to bottle. Along the way, Francesco shares the story of the estate and his family's deep roots in local winemaking.
The experience continues with a guided tasting, held in the climate-controlled tasting room or on the covered porch overlooking the Umbrian countryside, depending on the season. You will taste four wines, two whites and two reds, chosen to represent the estate's identity: Grechetto IGT Umbria, Grande Alone IGT Umbria, Merlot IGT Umbria, and Lucardo IGT Umbria.
Each tasting is paired with a selection of traditional Umbrian products, including Prosciutto Crudo, free-range Cinta Senese sausage, fresh Pecorino cheese, Torta al Testo, and bruschetta topped with the winery's own extra virgin olive oil.
