Live a complete wine experience at Tenimenti Leone, set in one of the oldest winegrowing areas in the world, where history, landscape, and winemaking come together in a truly authentic setting.
Your visit begins at the Ancient Medieval Tower of Presciano, an 11th-century tower fully restored and open to visitors. From its panoramic viewpoint, you’ll admire the surrounding countryside and learn about the estate’s long history, including the ancient olive grove that, as early as the 7th century, supplied olive oil to the Holy Sepulchre of St. Peter in Rome.
From the tower, you’ll continue with a walk through the vineyards, discovering the terroir and the philosophy behind Tenimenti Leone’s project. The experience then moves to the winemaking cellar, where grapes are transformed into wine, and to the evocative barrique cellar carved into pozzolan rock, dating back to the early 1900s, where the wines quietly age.
The experience concludes in the wine shop with a guided tasting of 3 wines, or 5 wines if you choose the premium selection, which includes some of Tenimenti Leone’s older labels. The tasting is paired with a selection of local cheeses and cold cuts, carefully chosen to enhance the flavors of the wines.

The explanation during the tasting was clear, engaging, and full of interesting details, making the experience even more pleasant and instructive. The wines we tasted were all excellent, of great quality, and you can perceive the passion that is behind each production.
We couldn't resist and we bought both the wine and the oil: both excellent! What can I say… I would go back right away and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an authentic and quality experience.

The path through the caves, fascinating and full of charm, gave us back the deepest sense of the bond between the wine and the land, while the walk through the vineyard, cared for with evident dedication, allowed us to experience firsthand the winery's production philosophy. Framing it all, the silent elegance of the tower, an almost symbolic presence that dominates the landscape and tells a story of identity and vision.
Special praise goes to Matteo, who, with competence, contagious enthusiasm, and extraordinary clarity, accompanied us along the entire tour. His explanations, precise but never pedantic, made every moment engaging and accessible, transforming the tasting into a narrative experience, capable of giving a voice to every glass.
No less appreciated was the courtesy of Andreina, whose attentive and discreet welcome helped make the atmosphere even more pleasant and harmonious.
Tenimenti Leone thus confirms itself as a place where wine is not just produced, but told and experienced. A visit that leaves a mark and deserves to be repeated when the new products are available.
