Looking for a little escape from the crowd? Enjoy this picnic with a view over the Amalfi Coast and discover the products of Le Vigne di Raito!

The winery has arranged a few panoramic picnic areas that will guarantee social distancing and some privacy. Upon arrival, after a brief introduction to the winery and its products (not the whole wine tour), you’ll receive a basket with wine and food, and you will be able to freely walk around and decide your favorite picnic spot.

Your picnic basket will contain cheese and baked goods, stuffed sandwiches, a portion of homemade dessert, 1 bottle of Amalfi Coast DOC wine for every two people, wine glasses, tablecloth, cutlery, and water.

Negative picnic experience

Arrival is complicated by a parking lot, which in turn is complicated by a narrow two-way street.
The entrance is far from the house where the basket is handed over, but there are no signs to show the way.
The estate is beautiful and well-kept and the welcome is friendly.
The picnic description mentions an introduction to their wines which is not provided.
The basket description refers to cured meats, cheeses, sandwiches, baked goods.
In ours there was a micro baked good, a sandwich with two thin slices of fiordilatte and tomato, and a very thin slice of tart.
The wine was good, but the price of 55 euros per person is absolutely outrageous.
Not to be recommended.

Delicious, Private, and Special

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this picnic experience, but it definitely exceeded our expectations! The hosts treated us as if we were the only party there (which we basically were!) and gave us the most personalized and friendly experience we’ve had since being in Italy. Not only were we allowed to explore the grounds and get the most amazing views and pictures, but the wine was some of the most delicious wine I’ve ever had. The snacks and sandwiches were also simple yet amazing and we took away knowledge about Italy that we never would have learned on our own. 10/10 recommend this experience to EVERYONE!

Wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting Vigne Di Raito. We had an amazing little picnic with the red wine. It is rare to find a winery with views of the sea. The little tables set up under the pergola were absolutely adorable. We also really appreciated that this winery is a small business and the wines are all organic. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!

Wonderful afternoon!

We had a fantastic time during our vineyard picnic! Alfonso was so friendly and gave us a great intro about the vineyard and the wines. The snacks in the picnic basket and the rosé wine were delicious, and the views were incredible. They told us we could stay as long as we’d like, so there was no rush. This was such a special experience and I definitely recommend booking a visit if you’re in the area!
