Discover the splendid city of Toledo with this Wine & history tour from Madrid!
This is the city of three cultures, Christian, Jewish and Islamic, and it is full of history, tradition and art. It was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and food and wine are surely the main characters in the life of Toledo, which is well known for the quality of its cuisine, and the typical offerings produced in this area like the cheese of La Mancha, olive oil, marzipan and saffron. As for the wines, Toledo traditionally produced little wine and does not have a separate Denominación de Origen. However, the region is home to some unique historic estates that we will visit during this wine tour.
You leave Madrid in the morning, visit a winery and then reach Toledo for lunch and a tour of the city, before we get back to Madrid by 7 pm
