Dalmatian Wine Journey through Šibenik & Countryside Flavours
Here is what's in store for you
Discover Dalmatia through its wines on this small-group afternoon journey from Split or Trogir, designed to combine culture, countryside, and authentic wine experiences. The route first leads along the coast to Šibenik, Croatia’s oldest native coastal city, where a guided walk through the historic center introduces the region’s character. Highlights include the UNESCO-listed St. James’s Cathedral, offering a graceful cultural opening to the day.
From the coast, the experience moves inland to the Dalmatian countryside and the welcoming setting of Ranch Rak, a family-run estate near Šibenik. Here, wine takes center stage. Enjoy a guided tasting of four carefully selected Dalmatian wines, learn about local grape varieties and traditional production methods, and visit the wine cellar as your host shares the story behind each label.
The evening concludes with a traditional Dalmatian dinner served in a relaxed rural atmosphere. Beginning with local prosciutto, cheese, and olives, the meal continues with peka or barbecue and dessert — thoughtfully paired with the warmth and simplicity of countryside hospitality. After dinner, return comfortably to Split or Trogir, carrying with you the flavors and stories of Dalmatia.
