Wine & Cheese Tasting with a Local Sommelier in Bordeaux’s City Center

In the heart of Bordeaux’s old town center, this wine tasting workshop will teach you not only the fundamentals of wine but also the history of the vineyards, their unique characteristics, and the main grape varieties. Led by a local wine expert, a professional with sommelier or vineyard experience, the session will also teach you how to taste wine properly, serve it with elegance, and pair it harmoniously with food.

After an introduction to the vineyards of Bordeaux, you will taste four wines from various appellations, each with its distinguished style and character. You will learn the specificities of each region in terms of soil, climate, and grape varieties, and learn how to recognize their unique taste.
