This culinary experience starts with a short walk through La Spezia, one of the coastal towns of Cinque Terre, and a visit to its beautiful market: here you will find fishmongers selling fresh fish and seafood, but also a vast array of regional vegetables: depending on the season you will find juicy tomatoes, green asparagus, aromatic mushrooms and wonderful artichokes.
A cook will join you during the market visit, and together you will buy all the ingredients you will need to prepare your lunch. After visiting the morning market, you will reach the small restaurant where the cooking class takes place. While preparing a delicious seafood meal, the chef will give you an insight into how to create traditional dishes using as many local ingredients as possible and with the least environmental impact. It sounds complicated, but the results are incredibly appetizing dishes! You'll be amazed at the simple finesse of the dishes you'll prepare - using only a few but high-quality ingredients.
The experience will end with one of the most delicious lunches of your life - prepared by you!
