Vinag 1847 Classic tour: Guided visit of cellar & Wine tasting experience

Explore the rich winegrowing and trade tradition of the oldest and largest wine cellars in Europe, Vinag 1847!

As you descend 23 steps to Vinag wine cellar (and yes, that number also has a hidden meaning!), you can feel the majesty of the space and the intriguing story it tells. Your guided tour will encompass a visit to one of the largest classical tunnel wine cellars under the center of the town of Maribor. You will have a chance to walk through the tunnels with a total length of 2 kilometers, to walk among more than 144 wooden barrels, as well as to visit the impressive archive of the estate, currently holding a collection of 85,000 bottles of top-quality archival wine.

After the tour, you will have the opportunity to indulge in a tasting of 2 or 3 of Vinag’s wines of your choice (according to the chosen option). You will finish this interesting and educational experience at the estate's shop where you can purchase some wine or other interesting souvenirs if you wish.
