Here is what's in store for you
Live an authentic harvest day in the heart of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the winemakers of Vini Romana. This hands-on experience will let you discover the magic of grape harvest season through the traditions, flavors, and stories of this celebrated wine region.
Your day begins at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome and a light breakfast of wood-fired “torcetti” biscuits. You'll then head into the vineyards to participate in the grape picking, just like locals have done for generations.
Around 11:30 AM, you'll return to the winery for a rich tasting lunch featuring a selection of Vini Romana wines paired with typical products: cold cuts, antipasti, wood-fired pizzas, local cheeses, and traditional desserts. Children will be served fruit juices instead of wine.
In the afternoon, you’ll take part in the time-honored ritual of grape stomping, followed by storytelling moments where you’ll hear tales of Langa life and culture. For those who wish, a scenic walk to the nearby Big Purple Bench (Panchina Gigante Viola) to admire breathtaking views over the hills.
This experience is perfect for families, couples, and groups looking to celebrate the harvest in a joyful and authentic way.
